The Story So Far...
To set the scene, it was back in May 2020 (during the first lockdown) and in director Kevin Hayler’s garden, fuelled by gin and tonics. He decided there and then, unaware how much impact the global pandemic would have on the world, that it was time someone took the bull by the horns and completely revolutionised the sales sector. He realised there was a different way to help salespeople, and to change the perception of sales, and salespeople.

3, 2, 1 Let's Create Sales Made Easy!
Tired of hiring mediocre salespeople, tired of hearing the sector brandished a ‘dirty’ job, and tired of hearing business owners struggle to recruit and retain proper talent, he was the person to take on the challenge and he started work the very next day.
Over the next 24 months, he invested over £250k and created a programme that would encourage, inspire, and ultimately help salespeople sell more, to more people. He focused on the following areas:
Kevin focused on the following areas...
His Own Team.
To lead by example on a global scale, he brought onboard expertise across three key areas: customer engagement, partnerships, and learning/development. You can meet the core team here who, between them, have experience and the expertise working for some of the world’s biggest names in finance, and the skillsets able to build high-performing teams at start-up and SME levels.

The Sales Profile.
The single way in which to differentiate their sales training and coaching programme from everything else on offer, was to embark on a global rating system, in a similar vein to that Tripadvisor uses. People recognise the benefits of Tripadvisor immediately don’t they, you rate your visits and when looking for a new place to stay or visit, that site is one of the first places you look for honest, first-person opinions and testimonials. This is how Sales Made Easy works.
Each salesperson will have their own sales profile which will look like this.
Based on accreditations gained and customer feedback received, everyone will have a score out of five stars that will be available to see. So, if you’re tasked with recruiting a top salesperson, you can gauge the truthful level of someone, simply by seeing how they’re performing against others.
Kevin always says that salespeople naturally perform incredibly well in interviews, but their actual sales performance can sometimes be less impressive. This aspect of the company is fundamental and is often the missing piece from sales training. Salespeople need to embrace and implement what they learn, and the ratings ensure they can do this, as it holds them accountable and is the aspect that will change sales for the better, worldwide.

The Flexibility and the Nature of the Programme.
In Kevin’s eyes, Sales Made Easy is here to help salespeople sell more, to more people. But it has to be done in a fun and motivating way, otherwise it could be like any other training provider. The beauty of his programme is that it is completely flexible. Upgrade or downgrade at any time, utilise as much or as little of the community forums as you like, and he promises you will see an increase in your confidence, salary, and opportunities if you give it a good go and commit to the coaching sessions.
